Flatbed
Loads are retained by being manually tied down with ropes. The bed of a flatbed truck has tie-down hooks around its edge and techniques such as a trucker’s hitch are used to tighten them. Weather protection is optionally provided by manually ‘sheeting’ the load with a tarpaulin, held down by ropes.
Step Deck
A step deck trailer is a form of a flatbed trailer in that it has no sides, roof, or doors. Where a step deck differs is that it has two deck levels. The higher, shorter one is positioned closer to the front of the trailer where the tractor hitch is located. The lower, longer one makes up the rest of the trailer length.
Cargo Van
Cargo Vans are similar in size to passenger vans and include an opening between the driver and passenger seat to allow for easy access to the cargo being carried in the vehicle. Cargo Vans are one of the most common transportation vehicles and are typically used in the delivery of smaller loads of goods.
Sprinter Van
Thanks to the larger size of Sprinter Vans, transporting goods can happen with ease. Regardless if it’s time-sensitive cargo, hotshot projects, or last-mile deliveries, these vans can do it all. They can be used to transport larger cargo like furniture, pallets, equipment, construction supplies, and more.
Box Truck
Box Trucks, also often referred to as box vans, cube vans, bob trucks, or cube trucks, have a completely enclosed cube-shaped cargo area. With the majority of box trucks, the cabin area is completely separate from the cargo area. Box Trucks are best used for transporting furniture, appliances, less than full truckload(LTL) freight, and more. Box Trucks can be used to transport most types of dry cargo.
Straight Truck
Straight Trucks can range in size from ten to twenty-six feet in length and are useful in transporting a wide variety of goods. Straight Trucks are often used for transporting expedited freight and goods such as housing or warehouse supplies, appliances, boxes, and furniture.
Large Straight Truck
The Large Straight Truck can range from ten feet through twenty-six feet long and be up to eight feet tall. On average, Large Straight Trucks can transport goods from 12,500 pounds to 33,000 pounds.
Refrigerated Cargo Van
Refrigerated Cargo Vans contain a refrigeration unit in the cargo area to maintain steady and specific climates for temperature-sensitive loads. Reefer Vans are frequently used to transport time sensitive refrigerated items such as meat, produce, and medications.
Refrigerated Sprinter Van
The Refrigerated Sprinter Vans are built for cooling, freezing, or even both as some vans include split-temperature features. These reefer vans ensure cargo can stay fresh throughout the duration of transport.
Refrigerated Box Truck
Refrigerated straight trucks are also referred to as reefer straight trucks. They are used to haul anything perishable from food products to flowers, chemicals, medical equipment and more. These reefer trucks come in different configurations meant to serve different business needs.
Refrigerated Large Straight Truck
Refrigerated straight trucks are also referred to as reefer straight trucks. They are used to haul anything perishable from food products to flowers, chemicals, medical equipment and more. These reefer trucks come in different configurations meant to serve different business needs.
Conestoga
Conestoga Trucks are the most flexible option when it comes to transporting goods. These vehicles include a sliding tarp design that can cover and uncover your cargo. This mechanism allows for easy loading and unloading of large goods that require protection from the weather.
